Life at Pymble

Our philosophy at Pymble is to offer girls a broad and diverse range of opportunities at every level of schooling and to nurture the confidence and self-esteem needed to take advantage of these opportunities.

The College aims to provide an excellent balanced education, with a strong emphasis on the development of each child's potential.

The College motto, "All' Ultimo Lavoro" (I shall strive for the highest) sets the standard for all activities, with girls encouraged to discover and develop their individual interests and strengths as they grow through childhood and adolescence to maturity.

In a friendly and yet disciplined atmosphere, each girl is encouraged to learn the values of co-operation and teamwork and to care for others and her community.

Sport and fitness skills are a vital part of Pymble's balanced educational program.

Music is very important in College life with girls from Years 7 to 10 participating in regular music classes. Elective music is available for girls in Years 8 to 12.

At Pymble we encourage girls to take part in all forms of Performing Arts including drama, musicals, dance performance and the Rock Eisteddfod.

Boarding facilities are available for those girls who require a 'home away from home' and who would like to enjoy the many benefits a boarding school education can provide. The girls live in one of the three houses, Goodlet, Marden and Lang, and are cared for by a Head of House and her family, two House Mistresses and two Assistant Mistresses.
