Ferguson House (Visual Arts)
Opened in 1970, the name of this building commemorates the work and service given to the College by the Chairman of the Council at that time, George Ferguson CBE, BA. George Ferguson joined the Council in 1957, became Chairman of Council in 1961 and retired from Council in 1974.
The Ferguson House also acknowledges the service of his grandfather, the Reverend John Ferguson, a member of the combined Croydon and Pymble Councils and first Chairman of Pymble Council.
The Ferguson House caters for all of our Visual Arts students. The building provides an art gallery, facility for craft activities, kilns for pottery and an open courtyard for sculpture. All girls in Year 7 study Art, and Visual Arts is an elective from Year 8 onwards.
