The role

Due to internal opportunities and growth of the College, we are on the search for the next passion driven administrator to join our Boarding family. This permanent, part-time (0.92 FTE) role will see you work full-time during the term time, and only 6 weeks of non-term time – totalling 44 weeks of the year.

As the ‘front of house’ face of Boarding, you will be integral to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within our Boarding community. You will manage a variety of administrative functions, working closely with the Director of Boarding to ensure the smooth running of our family-like homes. In joining the tight-knit and supportive Boarding team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across the College and co-ordinate exciting events such as socials, transition programs and community events for our Boarders and their families.

About you

You will demonstrate the following attributes and capabilities:

  • Knowledge of operational aspects of administration, including a proven ability to organise information and manage competing timeframes and deadlines.
  • Previous experience within an educational or boarding environment is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to demonstrate efficiency and attention to detail in all aspects of communication.
  • Experience in using the MS Office suite and a quick adaptability to other systems.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to sustain and develop quality and supportive relationships with Boarders, parents and staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills

The successful candidate must have a Working with Children Check clearance prior to engagement.
