The Village Championship – Afghan Cultural Festival and Football Match
Join us in welcoming schoolgirls of recently arrived Afghan refugee families into our local community with a festival of fun, learning, friendship and cultural immersion hosted at Pymble Ladies’ College.
You will be enchanted by inspirational speakers, exquisite live music and the finest of Afghan culture, food and storytelling through our experiential stalls.
Cheer the girls on in a football match between students from Afghanistan and Pymble Ladies’ College.
Time
12.45pm to 5.00pm (Opening Ceremony – 1.00pm to 2.00pm, Match 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Closing Ceremony and Dinner 4.00pm to 5.00pm)
Price
$20pp. Food and beverage vouchers available to purchase on the day at Afghan food stalls
