Teacher Expressions of Interest
Casual teaching expression of interest process
At Pymble, every teacher and staff member are valued for the person they are and for their contributions – big and small.
Our casual teachers are so important to our staff and students and help our community manage teacher absences due to excursions, camps, exams, illness and for when life happens.
While we have a small team of casual teachers who work regularly at Pymble, we often seek additional casual staff in both our Junior and Secondary Schools, so we welcome expressions of interest for casual teaching positions throughout the year.
When you submit your expression of interest, it will be acknowledged by email. If your skills and experience align with a current opening, we will contact you for a short chat, either online or in person, about possible roles, your availability and to answer any questions you may have.
When a position becomes available, our process involves four simple steps:
- A short discussion to confirm your availability and answer any questions (approximately 20 minutes)
- Conducting reference checks
- Completion of documentation
- Assistance to help you get started, such as a dedicated Pymble email address, College Map and a must-have casual teachers’ kit.
Please note that to ensure a fair and equitable process, we are unable to accept applications/documentation via ClassCover or similar programs. We have a secure and dedicated form for all casual teaching applicants.
