Investing in People \u2013 Transforming lives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scholarships and bursaries at Pymble<\/em> are catalysts for change. A ripple effect of impact, they empower students with opportunities previously unimaginable, gifting life-changing outcomes for girls, their families and their communities. Scholarships and bursaries at Pymble<\/em> do more than fund a girl\u2019s education: they remove barriers, re-define futures and continue legacies for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, a Pymble Foundation Scholarship Fund to provide support for girls displaced from their homes by war and other catastrophic events was established. Thanks to our generous community, the Pymble Foundation is currently supporting students from overseas who are managing the transition to Pymble<\/em> with courage and dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An increase in funds for scholarships and bursaries enables the College to offer more girls, who could otherwise not afford to attend the College, the transformative experiences available at Pymble<\/em>. Our scholarship and bursary programs are made possible thanks to the generous support of our community. Gifts to our Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of our Scholarship and Bursary Program is a profound belief in giving. We are inspired by the generosity of our community who are empowering more young women with a Pymble<\/em> education.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Pymble Foundation Bursary Program<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on the growing displacement of communities worldwide, we consider our own community, and our collective ability to respond to the needs of others through influential and proactive measure. With this intention, Pymble<\/em> offers a profoundly impactful opportunity for students of refugee background to study at the College through our Refugee Bursary Program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the gift of a Pymble<\/em> education is life-changing for our bursary students, they bring life-changing richness to our Pymble<\/em> students and staff, for which we are deeply grateful. <\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Through the generosity of donors, the College boldy declares its belief in the resilience of girls and women from all over the world to overcome adversity, whilst advocating for girls who would not otherwise have access to our world class education. Delivering a renewed sense of optimism and hope, this program assists students and their families to rebuild, reconnect and reimagine a positive future, supported by our compassionate and welcoming community. First Nations Scholarship Program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Open to girls from all over Australia, our First Nations Scholarship Program gifts students with a life changing Pymble<\/em> education. This program, among many, reflects our commitment to Australia\u2019s future: one which we envision should reflect the diversity and heritage of our wonderful country. By fostering meaningful connections with First Nations communities during the formative school years, we ensure all Pymble<\/em> girls learn with and from each other in a holistic, respectful and accepting environment that extends well beyond their years at school. RTG Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The RTG Scholarship is dedicated to the empowerment of young women through STEM. Betty Bennett First Nations Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Betty Bennett First Nations Scholarship is in memory of Betty Bennett. Betty Bennett was a quiet achiever, who graduated in the class of 1951. It was a time when World War II was over and the world’s first nuclear power plant opened and closer to home, the College was at capacity with students. Miss Dorothy Knox was the Principal, and, soon after Betty’s departure, the foundation stone as laid for the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After obtaining her Leaving Certificate, Betty went on to become a physiotherapist, working in hospitals and medical centres in Australia and overseas for the next 40 years. She also served on the Australian Physiotherapy Association (NSW) Council in the 1970s and 1980s. Throughout her life, Betty was always a generous giver to others in need. When she became aware of Pymble’s <\/em>Indigenous Scholarship Program, she was compelled to provide in her Will a sum of money to provide a young indigenous woman the same benefit and opportunity she received at school. A scholarship in her name will now be offered at the College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are grateful Betty has kept Pymble<\/em> in her heart for all these years and made provisions for the gift of educating others.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Foundation Boarding Scholarship<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pymble\u2019s<\/em> boarding community is a rich part of our College history, widely regarded as the \u2018heart\u2019 of the College. For over a century, this close-knit, supportive and joyful group of students, educators and support staff have celebrated the opportunity to live with and learn from each other, whilst journeying through their schooling years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boarding students bring diverse perspectives to College life, whilst developing essential life skills that prepare them for extraordinary futures. By supporting this scholarship, you provide reassurance to families that their daughter will be embraced by a well-resourced College community that prepares girls to go out into the world as well-rounded, responsible and capable young women.
