The chance to positively shape the future motivates us to champion research and make it visible and accessible within our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-highlight\"><blockquote><p>The Pymble Institute aims to positively contribute to the number of women working in and leading research in the future, especially in fields that see women significantly underrepresented.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the school environment, the Pymble Institute enables our girls to see a place for themselves in research communities and cultures. Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA, 2018) identified gender representation in the research disciplines in Australian universities. Their results show that overall, approximately 45 per cent of researchers in Australia are women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center is-style-highlight\"><strong>The table below reflects the significant disparity in the number of women,
