Our fourth program of levels is Stroke Development. These levels continue to fine tune freestyle and backstroke technique, while using drills to break down the elements that make up  technically-sound breaststroke and butterfly. In the Stroke Development stream, racing techniques including starts, turns and finishes will be practiced. This will fine tune our swimmers for their transition into the Pymble Squad Swimming program.

Learn to Swim - Seal   Seals

This is the ‘Stroke Development’ stream of the program. As Seals continue to build upon their freestyle and backstroke skills and technique, they will also use drills to break down the elements that make up a technically-sound breaststroke. Children will continue to develop their butterfly kick in streamline position, become more confident with diving technique, and learn how to incorporate forward rolls into tumble turns with a push and glide off the wall.
