Vision Valley Offsite Expeditions
Vision Valley offers the opportunity for several off-site expeditions around the local area.
Suitable for Year 5+
Duration: Six hours
Embrace the elements of the beautiful Berowra National Park on a guided bushwalk with our trained Vision Valley outdoor leaders. A variety of walks of varied difficulty are on offer and will be designed with the age and experience of the group in mind. Training in backpack walking and basic navigation skills is an added element of this introductory expedition activity.

Suitable for Year 6+
Duration: Six hours
Paddle the beautiful Berowra Creek on our guided paddle trip with our trained Vision Valley outdoor leaders. A variety of paddle experiences of varied difficulty are on offer and will be designed with the age and experience of the group in mind. Training in paddling and basic navigation skills is an added element of this introductory expedition activity.

Suitable for Year 7+
Duration: Eight hours
This expedition day provides students with a challenging, exciting and rewarding day of hiking and paddling. One group of students will start their hike at Berowra Waters Ferry and walk to Sam’s Creek along the Great North Walk, whilst the other group paddles from the Berowra Water Marina via Berowra Creek to Sam’s where they will meet, have an expedition lunch, and then change modes of travel for the leg home.
Our trained Vision Valley outdoor leaders will provide a full safety and skills briefing for your students before setting off on this fantastic journey.
Basic navigation skills are an added element of this activity.

Suitable for Year 7+
Duration: Two days
This overnight expedition provides students with a challenging, exciting and rewarding two-day hiking and paddling program.
One group of students will start their hike at Berowra Waters Ferry and walk to Crosslands campground along the Great North Walk, whilst the other group paddles from the Berowra Water Marina via Berowra Creek to Crosslands where they will meet for their overnight camping experience.
On Day 2, the groups swap modes of travel for the return journey.
Our trained Vision Valley outdoor leaders will provide a full safety and skills briefing for students before setting off on this fantastic journey. Skills in camping, cooking and navigation are an added element of this activity. Camping equipment is supplied.
