The Pymble Tennis Academy offers an extensive range of options for tennis enthusiasts in Year 7 to Year 12 who attend Pymble, including squads, private and semi-private lessons, and tournament opportunities.

Senior Active

For social and beginner players

Active Tennis Squads are a great way to get outdoors, get moving and learn a life skill.

Pymble students are encouraged to be well-rounded individuals, open to exploring the many different experiences that are on offer.

And what better way to embrace the opportunities than to play sports in a social environment?

Students who sign up for private and semi-private coaching are also encouraged to join Active Tennis Squads, which will help complement their strokes and techniques learnt in lessons.

Senior Development

For intermediate players

Secondary Development Squads are suitable for intermediate level players looking to take their game to the next level.

If you have participated in IPSHA or IGSA Term 1 or Term 4 competitions and are interested in trialling for the Tildesley Tennis Squad in the future, then this is the squad for you.

Each lesson will focus on developing technical and tactical aspects of the game, and being able to implement them in a match play situation.

Private Lessons Years 7 to 12

Private lessons benefit all standards from beginners to advanced players.

Pymble Ladies’ College has qualified coaches to help develop both the technical element of strokes and tactical play.

Private lessons are ideal for introducing beginners to the game with one-on-one tuition while advanced players can improve and develop advanced strokes, slice, topspin, physical and psychological skills.

Semi-Private Lessons Years 7 to 12

Semi-private lessons allow students to learn and develop their tennis with a friend or a student of similar ability and age.

The favourably low coach-to-student-ratio enables the coach to fast-track player’s technical development in a fun environment.
