The Year 4 camp was great. The activities the students participated in were just right to help our students develop their resilience and confidence. Our students came back raving about it. We are certainly booking in again.

Vision Valley was an exceptional site for our Year 7 Camp. The facilities allowed us to run a wide variety of challenging and rewarding activities for our students. The staff at Vision Valley were always accommodating and helped ensure our program exceeded the expectations of our staff, students and parents. Vision Valley offers flexible facilities, accommodating staff and exceptional outcomes for outdoor education programs.

I can’t speak highly enough of the service provided by Stuart Clark and his team at Pymble’s Vision Valley site. We utilised the site’s accommodation, catering and outdoor spaces to run a leadership camp for approx. 300 students from two schools. The camp’s location was perfect- near enough to allow for easy movement of students and staff between our schools and the Camp but far enough away that students felt the sense of being away from home. Our Camp followed a period of poor weather and it was Stuart and the team’s flexibility and willingness to solve problems that allowed our Camp to go ahead, in safety and comfort, while a number of other schools had to cancel their Camps that week.

Vision Valley provided the perfect opportunity to engage and challenge our Year 7 students. The staff went out of the way to accommodate both our staff and students, providing a unique opportunity to escape from the regular routines of a school day. The camp out was a highlight for our students and would encourage other schools to take up this option. We were so impressed with both the staff and facilities we have made a decision to re book for the following year.

Vision Valley has been a wonderful addition to our existing programme at Churchie. The four weeks spent by the students at the Arcadia campus provide a myriad of outdoor education activities allied to some memorable expeditions amidst the very best scenery that the Mid North Coast can provide. And yet, what we know from student and parental feedback is that Vision Valley is much more than just an outdoor education camp. It is an experience that forms authentic coeducational connections and ensures boys fully understand the meaning of respectful relations. It is an avenue to learn in situ and through experience, and a window to disconnect from the technology that pervades every level of society. It is an opportunity to live in residence alongside your peers and to learn some invaluable lessons about forming, sustaining, and rebuilding relations. Put simply, it is a rite of passage and a coming-of-age event, one that happens at such a vital and formative stage of a student’s development. Within the space of some twelve months, Vision Valley has readily established itself as one of the most sought-after opportunities at Churchie, and that says much about the impact of the experience.

Churchie Deputy Head of Senior School (Years 7 – 9)

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Vision Valley and to both Churchie and Pymble Ladies’ College for creating such a life-changing experience. Our son returned more confident, grounded, and socially aware. He often speaks about the importance of teamwork, resilience, and appreciating the simple things in life. In today’s modern world, very few opportunities exist that allow young people to disconnect, reflect, and grow in such meaningful ways. We’re incredibly grateful for this unique program – the personal growth we’ve witnessed has been remarkable, and we’ll always be thankful for this experience.
