Building strength of character
Pymble’s Outdoor Education Continuum is a life-changing journey designed to empower your daughter to be courageous and approach new challenges with optimism and excitement.
Starting with small outdoor explorations in Kindergarten and stepping up to progressively more challenging expeditions each year, our program is intentionally designed to foster personal growth, connection to peers, life skills, leadership and environmental stewardship at our Vision Valley site and other natural bushland settings.
Outdoor Education from Kindy to Year 6
Kindergarten
She’s young so we start small, with a series of daytime nature-play sessions at Pymble and local National Parks.
Year 1 and Year 2
Here, we step-up to day programs at Pymble, National Parks and Vision Valley.
Year 3
By now, the first overnight stay at Vision Valley with the cohort is highly anticipated, and lots of fun.
Year 4
With growing confidence, students enjoy two nights and three days of outdoor education at Webbs Creek.
Year 5
Hooray, time to revisit Vision Valley, this time for three days and two nights.
Year 6
The Junior School pinnacle: three days and two nights at Glenworth Valley, where lifelong memories are made.
"Going to Glenworth Valley made me realise I can do hard things and, if I stay positive, accept the things that are out of my control, but be open to having a go."
Gisele, Year 6
