Accommodation arrangements

Overseas Students enrolled in the Junior School (Years 5 and 6) are required to live with a parent. In the Secondary School (Years 7 to 12), Overseas Students may live with a parent or direct relative as outlined by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), or in one of the Pymble Boarding Houses, with a direct relative approved by the DHA to confirm appropriate accommodation and welfare arrangements. Pymble does not accept homestay arrangements.

As part of the application you will be required to provide:

• a certificate of English fluency from the Australian Education Assessment Service (AEAS) if required
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) prior to a Student Visa being granted
• a completed Overseas Student Guardian or Local Carer Form.

Applications received more than two years prior to entry will be placed on a waitlist. Two years prior to entry, if a place is available, the Enrolments Manager will contact you to confirm your intention to proceed and request updated school reports. In the year prior to entry, an interview with the Head of School and Director of Boarding (if required) will be arranged. All students must be interviewed before a Confirmed Place is offered.

If a Confirmed Place is offered, acceptance is finalised by payment of the Acceptance and Entry Fees and return of the signed Letter of Offer, Written Agreement and Student Guardian form. Upon receipt of these, an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) will be issued to enable your daughter’s student visa application.

Once your daughter’s visa has been granted, please forward the visa documentation to the Enrolments Department. You will then receive pre-commencement information outlining arrangements for her relocation and start at the College.
