“Pymble’s Early Years School is a place where curiosity is celebrated, creativity is nurtured and children belong.”

Mrs Karen Ahearn, Head of Early Years School

Purpose-built for exploration

Every element of our Early Years School has been thoughtfully designed to inspire imagination and interest.

Our commitment to Child Safety

The Early Years School has a suite of policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children. Parents are welcome to ask for a copy when they visit our centre.

  • We uphold the Child Safe Standards and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, ensuring every child is protected, valued and included in decisions within the Early Years School and wider College community.
  • Online safety is vital for our children, and all visitors must adhere to our no-photography guidelines in line with National Laws and Regulations. Parents are asked to follow the directions of EYS staff regarding personal devices while attending our service.
  • Our staff are mandatory reporters, legally required to report concerns, and our practice is governed by our child protection policy.
  • All staff undergo training in child protection, including identifying and reporting when a child might be at risk.
  • All staff hold current and verified Working with Children Checks and National Police Checks.
