For our Possoms and Wombats (0 to 2 years)
0 to 2 years
(Possums and Wombats)
Our programs for Possums and Wombats are developed to foster security in relationships as children take their first steps as explorers of the world.
Care for me means… feeling secure and safe as I build connections with others and venture into new environments of play, exploration and inquiry.
We respect the rights of each child to cultivate their skills and competencies in an environment rich in challenge and play, guided and supported by our educators.
Two separate sleeping areas meet each child’s need for sleep and rest. Our creative indoor and outdoor spaces provide plenty of room for exploration, negotiation and invention.

For our Kookaburras and Emus (2 to 4 years)
2 to 4 years
(Kookaburras and Emus)
Our Kookaburras and Emus enjoy dynamic spaces where they are encouraged to interact with the environment and each other, including outdoor settings where children can design their own play experiences and engage in both small and larger groups.
Our educators build on the interests of the children to provoke deeper inquiry and further investigation of topics and projects instigated by the children. This is a time to promote a love of literature and storytelling, both in natural outdoor environments and in shared indoor spaces.
Digital technologies are made available to children as their need for deeper investigation grows. Further appreciation of nature is fostered through our bush-time programs and our loose parts resources, available for construction and creative, imaginative play.
Responsibility… is helping me to understand that being kind to each other, and to the plants and animals of the world, is important.

For our Kangaroos and Wallabies (4 to 5 years)
4 to 5 years
(Kangaroos and Wallabies)
Learning experiences for our Kangaroos and Wallabies expand the skills and abilities of each child as they pursue their interests and build on their understanding of the world. Educators support the development of literacy and numeracy foundations through guided learning opportunities and moments emerging from the children’s play and investigations.
Digital technologies allow children to capture and make visible their discoveries, and provide a vehicle for collaboration and co-research. Children are encouraged to document their discoveries to foster agency and independence, as they learn through play and curiosity.
Learning activities include weekly sessions with specialist educators in Performing Arts, Physical Education and Languages. Additional co-curricular programs may be available to our Researchers in Semester 2, in Tennis, Gymnastics and Dance.
Our Compass (Social and Emotional) learning program provides each child with a toolkit of strategies and words to communicate strong feelings successfully, in a gentle, effective way.
Integrity shines in me when..I use my growing awareness of how to show care and kindness, to make choices in play situations.
