Four houses, one family
Pymble Ladies’ College is currently home to 147 Boarders from Years 7 to 12, who reside in four beautiful Boarding Houses with modern facilities designed to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming home. Each house has its own character and culture, but all share the same warmth, care and sense of belonging that define the Pymble Boarding experience.
Pymble Boarders live on the picturesque College campus with full access to our Braith Williams Aquatic and Fitness Centre, multiple sports courts and fields, Gillian Moore Centre for Performing Arts, Conde Library, co-curricular facilities and the spacious, sweeping grounds that make Pymble one of the most beautiful schools in Australia.
147
Boarders
We currently have a vibrant, diverse community of 147 Boarders in residence living, learning and growing together in our four Boarding Houses on campus.
Year
7
Our Year 7 Boarders spend their first year as a smaller group in Avonmoore House, our newly-renovated fourth House, designed to support the transition of our youngest Boarders into Boarding life.
Years
8-11
Pymble Boarders in Years 8 to 11 join one of two vertical Houses, Marden or Goodlet before they move as a Year 12 cohort into Lang House for their HSC year. Marden, Goodlet and Lang are our three historic Boarding Houses.
Year
12
Lang is our dedicated, historic Boarding House for Year 12, a beautiful home where our most senior Boarders find the space, support and camaraderie they need to complete their final HSC year.
Our Houses
Avonmoore House
Exclusive to Year 7
Avonmoore House is the dedicated home for our Year 7 Boarders and will give your daughter a gentle, nurturing start to her Boarding journey. Intentionally designed to provide a more intimate environment for our youngest students, Avonmoore fosters close bonds within the Year 7 cohort while maintaining strong connections to the wider Boarding community.
In Avonmoore, your daughter will settle into Boarding life at her own pace, supported by caring house staff and a warm culture of friendship and possibility. It is a place where new beginnings feel exciting rather than daunting, and where the foundations lifelong Pymble friendships are laid.
Our Houses
Marden House
Years 8, 9, 10 and 11
Marden House is a vibrant and welcoming home for your daughter in Years 8 to 11. As she grows in confidence and independence through her Middle and Upper School years, Marden provides the structure, support and sense of community which will enable her to thrive.
As a Marden Boarder, your daughter will benefit from experienced house staff who take the time to know each student personally, a busy social calendar of house events and activities, and the close friendships that come from sharing daily life with a group of like-minded peers.
Our Houses
Goodlet House
Years 8, 9, 10 and 11
Goodlet House is also home to Years 8 to 11 Boarders, offering the same warm, engaged community that characterises each Pymble Boarding House. As a Goodlet Boarder, your daughter will be encouraged to take ownership of her house, contribute to its culture and support her peers through the everyday challenges of school life.
Goodlet’s experienced staff provide consistent, caring oversight while giving girls the space to grow into independent, confident and socially aware young women.
Our Houses
Lang House
Year 12
Lang House is the home of our Year 12 Boarders, a community of young women stepping into the final chapter of their school journey with ambition, maturity and a deep sense of who they are. Lang offers a more independent living environment that reflects the readiness of our Senior students for life beyond Pymble.
Girls in Lang are looked to as leaders and role models within the wider Boarding community. They enjoy greater independence and responsibility, while remaining well-supported by dedicated house staff to embrace the challenges of HSC study and celebrate the milestone of graduation.
