A community built on connection

Pymble is more than a school. We are a community of curious, caring people who believe in the power of girls’ education and the relationships that grow around it. Parents, carers, alumni, staff and students all play a part in making Pymble the warm, vibrant place it is.

Pymble Parent Association

The Pymble Parent Association (PPA) is the heart of our parent community. It brings together parents and carers from across the College to connect, contribute and celebrate the shared experience of raising girls at Pymble.

The PPA organises events and initiatives that span the whole school, while dedicated parent groups for the Junior School and Secondary School run functions tailored to each stage of your daughter’s journey.

Meetings are held once a term, and all parents and carers are warmly welcome to attend. Annual general meetings give parents the opportunity to take on an elected role and become even more involved in the life of the College.

The PPA and Parent Support Groups (PSGs) work to promote the wellbeing of the College and its students, while representing parents and carers in the following ways:

Encouraging participation in College life and fostering a strong sense of community through a range of social and engagement activities.
Representing parents and carers within the College community, and liaising with the Principal, the Community Engagement team, and other College staff as appropriate.

A number of support groups operate under the auspices of the Pymble Parent Association, including:

Secondary School Parent Group (SSPG)
Junior School Parent Group (JSPG)
Boarding Parent Group (BPG)
Performing Arts Support Group (PASG)
Rowing Support Group (RSG)

All Pymble parents and carers are welcome to join as many or as few of these groups as they wish.

We know that a girl’s education is a journey shared with her family. Throughout the year, Pymble runs numerous parent educational sessions covering the topics that matter most to families, from wellbeing and adolescent development to study skills and the digital world. We work with parents to support your daughter’s journey, ensuring you feel informed, equipped and connected every step of the way.
