About Boarding at Pymble

Since

1916

From the day we welcomed our first students on 8 February 1916, Pymble Ladies' College has steadily grown to become a leading school for girls in Australia.

110

Years

Uniting us across the decades are the fundamentals of a Pymble education, where girls are placed firmly at the centre of their learning, supported by a community that genuinely cares about their wellbeing and outcomes.

Capacity for

150

Our Boarders come from all over Australia and around the world to create a diverse, inclusive and close-knit boarding community, where every student is known, supported and encouraged to be her best self.

4

Boarding Houses

Three lovingly restored heritage Houses and a newly renovated House, just for Year 7, create a cosy precinct of four 'homes away from home' for our Boarders in Years 7 to 12.

A world of opportunities

As a Pymble Boarder, your daughter will build deep and lasting friendships with Boarders and Day School girls from across Australia and around the world. We actively nurture connections between our Boarders and Day students, because a strong community is one where every girl belongs.

With access to exceptional learning opportunities, state-of-the-art facilities, extensive co-curricular options, spacious grounds and caring staff, your daughter will be inspired to develop a broad perspective of life, grow in independence and step into the world as a confident and capable young woman.

"Being a Pymble Boarder means you have an extended family that will always be there for you when you need them, and even when you don’t."
