Getting to Pymble Ladies' College
College private bus services
The College operates coach and minibus services for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, connecting families across a wide catchment area.
Services arrive and depart from the Kelso Oval bus bay on campus. Families can access route information, timetables and real-time tracking through the College’s transport platform.
For younger students, supervision is provided at key transition points to support a safe journey between the bus bay and the Junior School.
Planning your journey
In addition to the College bus network, families can use the Transport for NSW Trip Planner to explore train and public bus options, compare travel times and connections, and find the journey that best suits their family’s needs.
Public bus services
A number of local public bus routes serve the College and surrounding area, providing families with additional transport options.
Bus stops are located close to the campus and within walking distance of the main school entrances.
Train travel
Pymble Station is located within easy walking distance of the College and is served by Sydney’s T1 North Shore Line.
Many students travel independently by train, making public transport a convenient and sustainable option for families. The station also provides bicycle parking for students who cycle to connect with rail services.
Students may be eligible for NSW School Opal travel concessions.
Walking and cycling
Walking, scooting and cycling are encouraged for students who live nearby.
The College is well connected by local footpaths and pedestrian crossings, with bicycle parking facilities available on campus. These options support healthy, active travel while helping to reduce vehicle movements around the school.
Supporting younger students
The safety and supervision of Junior School students is a key priority.
Bus supervision
Kindergarten to Year 2 students travelling by College bus are met by staff and escorted to Junior School each morning. Years 3 to 6 students are welcome to join the group or make their own way to their classroom. In the afternoon, Junior School students travelling by bus are accompanied to the bus bay under staff supervision.
Grandview Street walking group
The College provides supervised walking arrangements between Grandview Street and Junior School for younger students arriving via the Kiss and Ride zone at Pymble Station. Staff supervision helps ensure students move safely between drop-off locations and the campus.
Travel by car
Families who choose to drive have access to designated drop-off and pick-up areas, depending on student year group, designed to support safe and efficient traffic flow. The College encourages families to consider public transport, bus services, walking and cycling where possible as part of its commitment to reducing traffic impacts and promoting sustainable travel.
Travel safely
Students are expected to travel safely, respectfully and responsibly at all times. The College works closely with families to promote safe travel habits and help students develop confidence and independence as they move to and from school.
