Esports
Years 3 to 9
Esports is one of the fastest-growing sporting and entertainment industries in the world, and Pymble‘s Esports program gives our girls a genuine seat at the table in a space where women remain significantly under-represented.
Girls take part in regular practice and friendly in-house competition, with the option to compete in external tournaments using Nintendo Switch and VR platforms. They can also explore racing simulation as a pathway into EV racing. Alongside the thrill of play and competition, this program builds real-world skills that carry well beyond the screen.
Skills development
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving — reading opponents, adapting tactics and making split-second decisions.
- Collaboration and communication — co-ordinating and communicating clearly as a team, under pressure.
- Digital and technical literacy — gaining practical experience with the platforms and tools shaping the future of work and play.
- Resilience and sportsmanship — learning to win, lose and improve with grace.
Confidence in male-dominated spaces — building a strong, visible community of girls in gaming and tech.
