Pymble Parent Association
The Pymble Parent Association (PPA) and Parent Support Groups (PSGs) objectives are to promote the wellbeing of the College and its students and to represent the parents and carers.
Parents and carers of Pymble Ladies’ College students are members of the Pymble Parent Association (PPA), as well as the individual Parent Support Groups (PSGs) – which operate under the umbrella of the PPA for each sub-school – for the duration of their daughter’s enrolment at the College. An elected committee of parents oversee the day-to-day running of the PPA and PSGs.
All parents and carers are encouraged to attend the meetings of the PPA and PSGs to hear updates from the groups and from College staff. They are also welcome to be involved on the committees.
The PPA and PSGs aim to promote the wellbeing of the College and its students, while representing parents and carers in the following ways:
- Encouraging participation in College life and fostering a strong sense of community through a range of social and engagement activities.
- Representing parents and carers within the College community, and liaising with the Principal, the Community Engagement team, and other College staff as appropriate.
A number of support groups operate under the auspices of the Pymble Parent Association, including:
- Secondary School Parent Group (SSPG)
- Junior School Parent Group (JSPG)
- Boarding Parent Group (BPG)
- Performing Arts Support Group (PASG)
- Rowing Support Group (RSG)
All Pymble parents and carers are welcome to join as many or as few of these groups as they wish.
