As a school of the Uniting Church in Australia, the Christian faith is a core element of Pymble’s identity. It underpins and informs the College’s values, activities and attitudes. In the daily life of the College, this faith is expressed in many settings, including Chapel services, assemblies, Wellbeing programs and the classroom.

All students, from Kindergarten to Year 12 are encouraged to explore and express their spirituality in a manner appropriate to their age, understanding, and their own cultural and faith background.

Pymble seeks to foster the discovery and development of faith, whilst at all times respecting the diversity of our community.

The College is proud of its Christian heritage and identity which brings a spiritual dimension into the daily life of its students and community. Pymble’s identity as a Uniting Church school informs its traditions as well as its practices. This includes the foundational College values of Care, Courage, Integrity, Respect and Responsibility, as well as its worship and spiritual practice.

Pymble Ladies’ College provides a holistic education that supports and nurtures girls in their personal, religious, cultural, ethical and spiritual growth. The College Chaplains and Religion and Ethics staff provide space and opportunity to worship, reflect and meditate on the deeply spiritual and philosophical questions of life.

Pymble’s hope in this is that Pymble girls will be better equipped to take their place within society and the global community with confidence of their own identity and value and with the capacity to make a difference to others through love and service.
