Share in Pymble’s Olympic Joy
On Saturday 11 May, Pymble Ladies’ College proudly launched our official designation as an Australian Olympic Pathway School by the Australian Olympic Committee.
We were delighted to welcome Pymble Alumni and Olympian Chloe Dalton OAM (2011) back to the College as MC and moderator of our Pymble Olympian panel including Dr Mackenzie Little (2014), Brittany O’Brien (2016), and Danielle Scott (2007) along with Lauren Jackson AO, Melinda Gainsford Taylor. Our Pymble Olympians all spoke highly of the decades of hard work by our coaches, staff and athletes to establish Pymble as a school of sporting and academic excellence.
Dr Kate Hadwen then welcomed Australian Olympic Committee CEO Matt Carroll to the stage who officially designated Pymble as an Australian Olympic Pathway School. Best of all was seeing the excitement among our girls, many of whom are working hard to follow their dreams of competing in front of a home crowd at Brisbane 2032.
